Bizarre Yahoo! Ranking

Recently we launched www.chesterfieldarmchairs.co.uk for our client Dining Chairs UK. Today we were running a rank check on all the mini sites we have built for our client. To our suprise we noticed that Chesterfield Armchairs was number 3 in Yahoo! for the term “Armchairs”.

This is both exciting and puzzling at the same time. Why would Yahoo! rank a new website with only 5 pages so highly? We are still investigating to why this has happened; we know to rank in Google for the keyword Armchair would be very difficult indeed. This goes to show how different the two search engines are.
