    Web Forensics is a unique online tool which was created to provide businesses with significantly increased return on their online activity, by offering transparency on exactly who has been visiting their website.

    While many website visitors will make an enquiry, a large percentage will visit the website but not make contact. Until now these valuable prospects would be completely lost. With Web Forensics, you can now have a complete picture of who has been on your website and can create a profitable new revenue stream from this high value data

    Web Forensics is an advanced digital tool that can greatly increase the level of return generated from business to business websites.

    Web Forensics sits invisibly on a website, and rather than just counting visitor numbers it can;

    • Identify the actual names of businesses that have visited the site
    • Identify the specific office location the visit came from (Not just head office or server location – and this is on a global basis)
    • A contact telephone number for that office
    • The business website address
    • Their journey to and on the site (Keywords used / search engine used / pages visited and time on the site.

    As you can probably quickly see this provides a much greater level of intelligence on companies that have been driven to a website than has previously been possible, and the information can be used to;

    • Generate Hot Sales Leads – visitors that did not enquire can be followed up whilst they are in the market and converted to business
    • Generate Highly effective information on specific businesses that have been driven to the site by marketing campaigns
    • Identify cross and up sell opportunities with existing clients are they looking for another product or service in the same market?)
    • Tracking of pipeline and lapsed clients on the site for highly effective follow up
    • Allow for further optimisation of the site and targeting of Pay per Click campaigns for instance.

    Please contact us for your online demonstration of Web Forensics.

    Good website content writing means providing relevant content for your website. This means knowing what information your visitors are looking for and providing that information. As well as providing this information, a web content writer should also include your major selling points, and persuade visitors to navigate to and complete your Call To Action.

    Whether you’re new to the online business world or are looking for more ways to improve your traffic levels and profit figures, search engine traffic should be considered a vital part of your company’s marketing mix.

    While it can take several months to really enjoy the benefits of good, ethical SEO, once search visitors start rolling in they will cost you considerably less than visitors generated through other online marketing techniques and they are laser targeted according to your most important keywords.

    Choosing Keywords

    Keywords are one of the first factors to consider in an SEO campaign and they will continue to play an important part throughout the SEO process. A keyword is a word which a search engine user uses in order to search for a specific topic.

    Once the user conducts the search, they are then presented with a list of relevant web pages ranked according to relevance as determined by the search engine’s algorithms.

    Hitting The Top

    If one of your web pages appears at the top of search results for keywords that are relevant to the product you sell or service you offer then you will start to see targeted visitors.

    Targeted visitors are highly sought after because they arrive on a web page more inclined to make a purchase, click a link, or otherwise take the desired action. In contrast, visitors that arrive through generic advertising that are not targeted are considerably more likely to exist your site and move on.

    Including SEO In Your Marketing Mix

    Competitive keywords can take considerable time to rank highly for. However, they can also generate thousands or even tens of thousands of searches in a week or even a day. In the meantime, it is possible to rank highly for less competitive but still very popular keywords and benefit from the additional trust your website will be gaining in the meantime.

    When we deal with SEO, PPC, and virtually any other form of Internet marketing we refer to average users but what exactly is an average user and is there even such a thing? According to statistics from Internetworldstats.com there is.

    The Nationality Of The Average User

    In 2009, just over 42% of the world’s Internet users were from Asia with Europe in 2nd place with nearly a quarter. North America only managed third place with just under 15% of everybody that logged on.

    However, while they may have lacked in overall numbers they did make up for in penetration. Over three quarters of North American residents (76.2%) had access to the Internet while Australia had the second highest penetration rate with 60.8%. Europe was 3rd with 53%.

    UK Leading The European Pack?

    In terms of European users, there were 54.2 million Germans logged on in September 2009 and in the UK we placed 2nd with 46.7 million users. Russia and France were third and fourth respectively. In terms of the percentage of the population with Internet access, the UK actually falls some way down the list despite impressive penetration figures of 76.4%. Iceland with 93.2% and Sweden with 89.2% respectively topped the pile.

    UK Internet Access

    According to the Office for National Statistics, 18.3 million households in the UK had access to the Internet in 2009 and 63% of all households or 90% of those with an Internet connection had a broadband connection, an increase from 56% in 2008.

    E-Commerce Usage In The UK

    According to the statistics, approximately 2/3 of regular UK Internet users had made a purchase online and of these people 83£ had made an online purchase within 3 months of being interviewed.

    Underlining The Importance Of Your Own Business Website

    With these figures in mind, it’s little surprise then that over 7 out of 10 businesses are believed to have their own little corner of the web.
